The final report for Work Package 4 (WP4) of the Sport4E – Skills through Sport for Employability and Employment project has officially been released. Titled „Final Report – Workshops, Seminars and Pilots,” this comprehensive document showcases the implementation, impact, and findings of a series of workshops designed to empower both coaches and athletes with essential employability and entrepreneurial skills through sport.

Co-funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS-SPORT-2022-SCP programme, the Sport4E project focuses on equipping young people involved in sports with the transversal competencies needed to thrive in today’s job market. The report captures the work of six partner organisations from Portugal, Germany, Italy, Hungary, and Spain—including the Budapest Association for International Sports (BAIS)—who each organised three workshops: one for coaches and two for athletes.

Key highlights of the report include:

  • Practical training on how to transition from sport to the job market
  • Insights into the transferability of soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and resilience
  • Entrepreneurship workshops turning sporting experience into business ideas
  • Positive feedback from over 280 participants who felt more confident and career-ready after the sessions

The report confirms that athletes and coaches alike recognise sport as a powerful tool not only for physical development, but also for building real-life competencies that are crucial for future employment or launching a business.

To ensure wide accessibility, the report is available in six languages:
English, Portuguese, German, Italian, Hungarian, and Spanish.

This multilingual availability underscores the inclusive and transnational spirit of the Sport4E initiative, reinforcing the role of sport as a bridge between personal development and professional readiness across Europe.
